In 1988 OOK^® opened its factory in China. OOK^® is one of the first companies in the hardware business to build a Chinese Manufacturing Facility from the ground up. The facility was formed in partnership with a father son duo. Since OOK was already an established brand in the museum and gallery trade, we had to build a factory according to well-established quality specifications. With this in mind OOK designed its factory with a combined expertise of the German, American, and Chinese processes. 

In addition to the Chinese factory, OOK has many products produced around the world, as well in the USA. OOK is proud to be an American Company (based in Miami, FL) that continues to employ many people stateside at a time when so much manufacturing, packaging and production has been outsourced.
