A not-for-profit visual arts organization for 49 years, The Art Center (TAC) provides a visual arts education to Highland Park and its surrounding communities, assuring access to the arts for all ages and cultural interests.
This vigorous community-centered organization inspires tots through seniors to achieve and transform their world through more than 500 classes in photography, oil, watercolor, pastel, and mixed media painting, ceramics, jewelry making, metalsmithing, digital arts, fiber art, mosaics, and assemblage offered annually and bring the vitality of national and regional art to the more than 26 surrounding communities it serves through 20 gallery exhibits of contemporary and cutting-edge art each year.
